Building a web application isn’t only difficult; it can be impossible without knowing where to start. In this post, I highlight our journey from a full-stack to a “No-Code” solution.
I began my Computer Science career in 2010. I went to a smaller university with a surprisingly solid CS program. With a small program ( I was the only CS graduate in my cohort), I received as much individualized help as needed. The courses ranged from low-level operating systems or data structures, where we got into the nitty-gritty, to high-level classes in software engineering or even web development. I’ve lost track of the number of programming languages I learned during this time. Following my undergraduate degree, I continued my academic career in the realm of CS, where I focused less on CS and more on signal processing, pattern recognition, and AI. The point being, I’ve been seasoned pretty well in CS over the last few years. So, when we began building our product, I thought I could use my CS background and build a web application (at least an acceptable MVP).
Let me regale you with a whale of a tale — a cautionary tale — about a person who (unbeknownst to her) is subconsciously sabotaging her progress. And while it’s not in kettlebell and bodyweight…
