Jesus Is With The Underappreciated

You go to church, and you see the people whom no one talks to, or no one regards.

Jesus regards them.

It is not those who make the most noise, or are the most physically attractive, or seem to have accomplished the most, that He loves.

He loves those who live for His glory without ever expecting thanks. He loves those who live for His glory who do so without drawing attention to themselves. He loves those who live for His glory who do so in secret. He loves those who live for His glory by doing so when no one is watching.

It is these quiet people who go unnoticed at church who are, in the eyes of Christ, the true heroes.

Christ never goes by appearance. The true state of affairs is always a surprise.
