After the storm

I used to believe I was a good boyfriend because I make time, surprise and be sweet from time to time and caring. I guess it’s a disadvantage to grow up and be surrounded that that’s the norm. I am wrong.

I should’ve known when to listen and when to talk. I was opinionated in a lot of things. And my rough tongue always give an impression that I’m attacking people even though I’m not. When I see a mistake, I’m going to call it and demand an explanation. I should’ve known when to be empathetic and when to give some space. It’s hard to change old habits especially when you grew up like that. I’m trying to change that.

Being a good boyfriend is more than gifts. I should’ve been more honest. More trusting. More relaxed. Should’ve been laid back more than dive in right away. I guess I was thinking, “I found her, why should I wait? I’ll never let her go.” no one would take that seriously especially from a 16 year boy. I understand that now. I was rude. I’m changing it now. EMPATHY. EMPATHY. EMPATHY ADRIEN. EMPATHY. My friends have began pushing my buttons, they said it’s for practice. I guess it’s helping to remain calm and laid back. Another lesson I learned from meeting you. And people are wondering why I’m still not over you nor I’m not taking anyone serious at school. You’re a forever muse. You’re the reason why I’m getting and wanting to get better. You’re shaping me to be the best version of myself even though you’re not in my life anymore.
