She was the girl with suicide
eyes
who mourned the beauty
of everyday life
the moments that happen
and
fade
and die in an instant
never to be

repeated again.

She saw the beauty
the tragedy
the love and loneliness in the world
She couldn’t shut it out and it
broke
her
heart
her pain
and longing
f l o w e d from her
into the streets
into the world
and soon the world couldn’t shut her out
couldn’t ignore its reflection
in her ruby tears

so it swallowed her whole

soaking up
every drop

until

she

was

forgotten
